Meet the newest addition to the LED grow lighting family! The LED120 covers 120 square meters of playing surface with sustainable LED technology and is well suited to treat large high wear areas such as the penalty box and the areas parallel to the sidelines and backlines. The combination of advanced LED lighting, infrared technology, and a smart control system guarantees optimal grass quality and energy efficiency all throughout the year.

High-quality grass growth

The independent control of light and heat radiation allows the grounds manager to precisely align the light and heat conditions with the grass's needs. This enables the grounds manager to create the optimal growth conditions in every climate, resulting in the highest possible grass quality.

Sustainable & energy efficient

By precisely aligning light and heat radiation with the grass's requirements, the grounds manager can deploy the LED120 as energy efficiently as possible. To guarantee maximum energy savings, the LED120 utilizes the most energy efficient and effective light spectrum available.

The LED120s' LED fixtures, IR fixtures, and control system are all built based on decades of research, and validated by by stadium managers world wide. Customer friendly grow lighting

By unfolding one arm, the arm on the opposite end of the unit unfolds simultaneously. This keeps the LED120 stable and balanced throughout the unfolding process, easier to install on the pitch, and therefore more user friendly for the grounds manager.

 

Built in sensor for smart operation

The LED120 is equipped with a built in sensor that measures the temperature on the pitch, and is connected to the SmartBox. Only when the sensor detects a shortage of available heat, the system will automatically activate the infrared to create the optimal grass growth conditions. This data driven approach ensures that the LED120 is used in the most effective and energy efficient way possible, resulting in the highest grass quality and maximum energy savings.

 

Custom designed LED and infrared technology

The LED120 is the result of decades of research, with quality and sustainability as top priority. The lighting and infrared fixtures it utilizes are custom built from scratch, designed to produce the highest uniformity, and engineered to be highly effective. The asymmetrical reflector design and the unique lay-out of the infrared fixtures ensure very consistent and controlled heat distribution. As a result, the LED grow lighting system needs less fixtures to achieve the optimal results, making the unit lightweight and user friendly.

Collection and use of convection heat

Roughly 35% of the energy an LED fixture uses is converted in convection heat. Convection heat warms the air around the fixture and is not directed to the surface, which means this energy is wasted. Our LED fixture collects this heat and redirects it towards the surface when additional heat is needed. This innovative feature ensures that no precious energy is lost, making the fixture highly efficient and sustainable.

Most efficient light spectrum

Each colour of the light spectrum requires a different amount of energy. Through extensive research conducted at our indoor and outdoor research facilities, as well as valuable feedback from our customers worldwide, we have been able to determine the specific colours necessary for achieving the highest quality grass growth. Furthermore, we have identified the minimum energy input required for each colour. As a result, we have developed a light spectrum that minimizes energy consumption while maximizing grass quality.

When to use?

Light and temperature are controlled individually on the LED120 with smart sensor-based operation, creating the perfect growing conditions in all climates:

  • In winter & summer
  • In case of an intense playing and/or event
  • In shaded areas schedule with little time for repair

How to use?

The LED120 has a lighting surface of 120 m², therefore it’s ideal for treating large high traffic areas on flat grass playing surfaces. You can treat up to 6 areas by moving the unit to a next location every 24 - 48 hours.
